Choosing a gift for someone special, when you want to show how much you love them but don’t want to break the bank is never easy. Remember the dilemma of Holly Golightly and Paul Varjak in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. They managed to find the perfect gift, despite their modest budget and you can too, with a little help from Kathryn Cooper.
Kathryn has enjoyed a lifelong love affair with jewellery. Whilst mostly self-taught, she has undertaken some training at the London Jewellery School at Hatton Garden.
Her passion for sparkle developed from expensive hobby into a growing business in 2004 when friends and family began to express an interest in purchasing her unique jewellery creations.
Kathryn specialises in working with precious metals, quality gemstones and freshwater pearls and has a range of limited edition and unique pieces immediately available in her online shop for any last minute gifts. For inspiration for her pieces she draws on her extensive travels to exotic locations, the beauty of the materials she works with and the energy and personality of her clients when she is commissioned for a particular project.
For anyone looking for a gift for a November birthday, or even just for a special treat, November birth stones are Topaz (available in a range of colours) and Citrine, (typically yellow). Both stones have been used since ancient times in healing rituals and are accredited with providing wisdom and longevity. Both are affordable and can be fashioned into a unique jewellery design according to your specific requirements. Kathryn already has citrine pieces in stock and can work with topaz or any other gem stone for commissioned items.
Kathryn’s talents extend beyond designing new pieces. When she noticed her mother, as a result of suffering from arthritis, was having difficulty fastening much loved pieces of jewellery, Kathryn set about designing a solution. To help with bracelets she designed an easy fasten “bracelet helper “available for sale on her web-site- priced at only £11 and yes, even these are unique, and there is a video link demonstrating just how they work. Kathryn fitted easy to use fasteners in gold and silver to her mum’s necklaces and then, having given a whole new lease of life to her mum’s jewellery collection, set about providing the same service for her clients. Kathryn Cooper also offers a service recycling jewellery so if a treasured item is broken or has parts missing you can be sure Kathryn has a solution. So no need to leave damaged or awkward jewellery in the box, there is still time to give Christmas a little extra sparkle. Contact Kathryn at firstname.lastname@example.org
